  While Sonion has been certified according to the ISO 9001 standard since 1994, Sonion Medical was ISO 13485 certified in 2007 and has production in both controlled areas and cleanrooms. Plastic molding takes place in Roskilde, Denmark, while assembly takes place in the Stettin area in Poland.
